The Adventures of Frio: Backstabbing Rogues and Krakens of Doom
"With the brawn of Conan, the luck of Flashman, and the brains of neither, Frio is becoming a famous hero through very little of his own doing. (And sometimes in spite of it.) The giant orc wants only the simple pleasures of a good meal, an everlasting bonfire, and an unstoppable horde of goblin followers. Destiny has other plans."
This is the first of the Frio adventures to appear in the kindle store. It's a 10,000 word novelette selling for $0.99
The Adventures of Frio: Tentacled Trees, Vicious Wererats, and the Making of the Goblins' Hero
Another $0.99 novelette. This time 15,000 words. In case you heard the rumors about the brilliant orc leading an army of goblins and wondered how this came about.
The Adventures of Frio: The League of Extraordinary Rascals
A dimwitted monk, naive spy, and arrogant talking cat are faced with the challenge of recovering their missing memories while the entire Jondurian Empire pursues them. Fortunately, they have Frio the mighty orc, and his enchanted greatsword to aid them.
It will soon become apparent that sinister forces have a stake in the outcome, with consequences far greater than any of the companions could have foreseen. Will Frio ultimately choose to protect his own skin, or will he rise to meet the heroic status the Fates have built for him?
First seen in the adventures of Frio, Jappa is the wise and paradoxically oblivious monk of Barathusa. In this 34,000 word novella, he seeks to acquire an evil artifact and bring it back to where it can be safely contained. It's the sort of routine job he does best, but this time his best won't be good enough.
This novella can be read by those unfamiliar with the adventures of Frio and other work by this author, but returning readers should gain extra insight into the forces drawing major characters together.
Loros is the man you call when something messy needs doing and the price isn't really an issue. The only thing more notable than his greed or lack of morals is his skill with a knife.
It sounds like a straightforward job, to kill another fighter calling himself the Alpine Kid. It won't take long for Loros to realize he isn't so lucky.
10,000 word novelette. $0.99 story that takes place in the same world Frio inhabits, but with a new protagonist.
This is my first full length novel, ($3.00) science fiction that reads like fantasy. If you thought pseudo collective organisms like the borg were scary, wait until the phryxian houndmasters are after you.
Another $3.00 novel. This is the sequel to Phryxia. By now you should have figured out that transplanar superorganisms that devour universe after universe are the least of your worries.
A 10,500 word novelette for $1.00, this was my first work to appear on amazon. It's a horror/fantasy set in the modern world and dedicated to my grandfather, who was convinced that someone was going to steal his coins if I didn't check on them RIGHT NOW. It didn't take much for a sleep deprived mind to start wondering, "what if..."
The first episode was made available as a public domain work, as per my agreement with Devtome. There were issues that made it impractical to continue working with that organization however, so future episodes were published into the kindle store.
